Let me introduce you to Kubis & Kale restaurant which is located right in the heart of Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya serving wholesome and mouth-watering poke bowls topped with fresh ingredients accompaniment with nine unique sauces. The sauces include Garlic-Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mango Mustard, Smashed Basil, and Lime Cilantro Jalapeno. Most of their poke bowls are season with care and made from scratch using wholesome ingredients, no Monosodium glutamate (MSG). Kubis & Kale restaurant was founded by a pioneer in Malaysia named Aaron Lim which specialized in poke bowls, which are largely vegetable-based but retain the optional helping of salmon or chicken. Vegetables used in the dishes are sourced from a pesticide-free farm in Seremban and meals are meticulously prepared to ensure quality and freshness. Its appeal lies in eaters being able to customize this Hawaiian-inspired dish over a multitude of bases, ingredients, and sauces – with chunks of raw, marinated fish — usually tuna — which is then tossed over rice or salmon noodles or quinoa and topped with vegetables and umami-packed sauces.

Herb Baked Dory
Brown pilaf rice which was sautéed with aromatics before cooking in broth to create seasoned rice with more defined rice grains, topped with a meaty herb baked dory accompaniment with charred broccoli, pico de Gallo, king oyster mushrooms, furikake, and fish roe served with chimichurri sauce. The herb-baked dory tasted so delicious and well coated with the herb to bring the extra flavor within. Definitely order this if you're very hungry.
Green Chutney Chicken Thigh
Fresh mix salad served with juicy green chutney chicken thigh topped with blistered cherry tomatoes, charred sweet corn, seasonal fruits, super seeds, and lighten with black olives accompanied with pesto vinaigrette sauce.
Grilled Rib-EYE Steak
Brown pilaf rice served with tenderly grilled Rib-eye steak served medium-rare sided with tropical cucumber, egg whites, mango salsa, caramelized onion, garlic chips accompaniment with green apple hot sauce. A bowl pack with protein and the Rib-eye steak was grilled still perfection.
Double Vegan
Maple soy tempeh and tofu adobo served with brown pilaf rice accompanied with charred sweet corns, pico de gallo, charred broccoli, seaweed flakes, coriander, and vinaigrette sauce. A perfect meal for people who are practicing to abstain from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals or also known as vegans. Overall it tasted really good and it might make me consider being a vegan once a week.

Brown rice served with fresh mango habanero salmon "raw", cherry tomatoes, walnut, seasonal fruits, chopped onions, furikake, flaxseed, and sesame seed accompanied with baby-Racha sauce.

Mix salad served with orange passion fruit salmon, chopped pickled ginger, carrots, corns, seaweed salad, fish roe, pumpkin seeds, seaweed flakes, and we add-on the salmon skin accompanied with lime aioli sauce.

The star of the dish is a spicy sauce served with noodles. Made with chili oil, pickled vegetables, Sichuan peppercorn, and sesame, the sauce will burst with heat and complex flavors in your mouth.
Shiitake Nood
Slices of rich, meaty, and buttery Shiitake mushrooms served with noodles and chopped seaweed. Delicious and also very beneficial for our health because Shiitake are rich in polysaccharides like lentinans and other beta-glucans. These compounds protect against cell damage, help your immune system, and boost white blood cell production for fighting off microbes. Polysaccharides also have anti-inflammatory properties.
